Donaldina "Dee" McLeod Blevins, 59, resident of Pensacola, FL, for 18 years, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2006, after a courageous 3 year battle with cancer.

Mrs. Blevins was born in Glasgow, Scotland. She was a homemaker, artist, and gourmet cook. The proudest moment of her life was receiving her American citizenship in 1996. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Blevins met her husband in 1970 while he was in the U.S. Navy at Holy Loch, Scotland. She lived for many years in Spain after his retirement. Mrs. Blevins moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1979 before settling in Pensacola in 1988. She was a friend to all who knew her, and will be surely missed by all.

Mrs. Blevins was preceded in death by her father and mother, Stanly and Mary Phillips of Glasgow, Scotland.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years Richard Claude Blevins; son, Paul A. Blevins, of Pinellas Park, FL; granddaughter Audrey Paige of Pensacola; sister May Augustine of Massachusetts; brother Neil Phillips of Glasgow Scotland; nieces Yvonne, Karen, and Annette; sister-in-law Gail Sheasby of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and special friend Rhonda Rommes of Pensacola, FL.
