Myrel Bringard entered this world on April 17th, 1927 in Panguitch, Utah to Frank and Weltha Clark Bringard. The tenth of sixteen children, theirs was a home full of much happiness and love. She will be remembered for her wonderful meals and fun sense of humor. She loved to dance, and is proud to have practiced with the famed Arthur Murray Dancers.

She loved to read in her favorite oversized chair and kept her mind sharp doing crossword puzzles daily.

She was very interested in politics. Throughout her life, she found joy in spending time outdoors in nature. She loved camping with her family, and also gardening. Music was a respite for her in the evenings, and she especially loved old country and western and traditional tunes. Mom always believed in looking her best. She was a very beautiful, classy lady.

Our sweet mother and grandmother succumbed to Lou Gehrig's disease. She was called home on Wednesday, July 28th at the Fillmore Hospital, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

She is survived by her three children, Sandy (and Farrell) Quarnberg of Fillmore, Jim (and Brenda) Pender of Beaver, Brent (and Cyndi) Bartholomew of Clinton, seventeen grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and sisters Evelyn Watts of Boise, Idaho, Dolores Anderson of Garland, Hazel Kay Edwards of Riverton and brothers Gene Bringard of Murray and John Bringard of Delta.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Thomas Pender, Francis L. Bartholomew and Fred R. Rowley, sisters Norma Heil, Carrie Short, Fenella Bringard, Irene Wilder, LaDonna Peck, Mary Horrocks, Janice Hodgen, Geneil Bunker and brothers Earl and Sam Bringard.

Funeral services were held Monday August 2, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Fillmore LDS Stake Center. Friends visited Monday from 11:00-12:30 prior to services.

Interment was in the Fillmore City Cemetery under the care of Rasmussen Mortuary of Fillmore. Online condolences at rasmussenmortuary.com.
