FORMER RESIDENT PASSES AWAY IN DES MOINES TODAY
Pneumonia Cause of Death, Was Teacher in Des Moines Schools. Remains Will Probably Be Brought Here For Burial.

Friends and relatives were shocked to hear of the death of Miss Bertha Coughlin which occurred about noon today at a hospital in Des Moines where she had been ill with pneumonia.
Miss Coughlin was the twin sister of Mrs. Ray Myers of this city and grew to womanhood here later entering the educational world as an instructor in the Des Moines schools.
Mrs. Myers left this morning to be at the bedside of her sister but she passed away before the arrival of Mrs. Myers. The remains will probably be returned here for interment.
