Mary C. Linderson Death
Mary C Linderson, 85, of Lockridge died Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 19, 1973 at the St. Francis Continual Care Center in Burlington following a lengthy illness.
The daughter of Thomas H. and Ellen Lee Coughlan, she was born Jan. 24, 1888, at Mt Pleasant.
Mrs. Linderson was educated in Henry County schools and taught in Trenton, Rome and Lockridge. She was a last member of a family of 13 children. A resident of the Lockridge community for the past 60 years. Mrs. Linderson was active in community organizations.
On June 12, 1912, she was married to Ray A. Linderson of Lockridge who died in 1960.
An infant daughter and one granddaughter preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at the First Augustana Lutheran church in Lockridge. The Rev. Lenwood Monte officiate with interment in the Lockridge cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Crane-Ewart-Young Funeral Home, Friday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Those friends who desire may contribute to organ fund at the First Augustana Lutheran Church, Lockridge.
