Benjamin Johnson Field (1839-81) served in the Confederate Army. He married in 1868, Mary Weaver (1851-1932), daughter of Col. Samuel M. (1805-64) and Eliza Rose Weaver (1813-1904). Five children were Mildred (1871-72); Benjamin Johnson, Jr. (1872-1954) who married Mary Alice Herbert (1872-1938); Leila Hooper (1873-1948), Omer Weaver (1875-1924), and Samuel Montgomery Field (1877-1929). Omer Weaver Field (1875-1924) married in 1899, Adeline "Addie" Smith (1869-1960), daughter of William Fort (1839-97) and Judith Watts Smith (1841-83), by whom he had Mary Judith Field (1899-1982), born in Little Rock, who married Scott M. Julian (1896-1974). A son, LTJG Scott Milholland Julian, Jr. (1926-51), died in the Korean War aboard a mine sweeper.
