She was born Jan. 3, 1935 in Danville to Roscoe and Hazel Nixon Denney. She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers, Carl Denney, James Denney, Edward Denney, William Denney, Robert Denney, Joe Denney and Jack Denney and four sisters, Elizabeth Denney, Betty DeMoss, Shirley Browning and Barbara Boyer.
She married Eugene Jones in Danville on Aug. 27, 1951. He survives. She is also survived by six children, Rickie L. (Sherrie) Jones, Randy Jones, Rocky Jones, Patty King, Tracie (David) Ross and Vickie (Ronald) Hemp; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and three brothers, Clifford (Paulette) Denney, George Denney and Daniel (Carol) Denney.
She enjoyed being a homemaker where she was able to be at home and raise her children with her husband without the need of a babysitter. She enjoyed working and completing her word searches, reading the newspaper and then cutting out the articles of interest, as well as going shopping. Patricia also enjoyed going for rides in the country and singing out loud, going to auctions, watching a movie at the drive-in theaters, butterflies, being with her family and enjoying the little things is life.
She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
