He was born March 12, 1939 in Danville, Illinois, the son of Roscoe and Hazel Nixon Denney. He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers; five sisters and his wife, Patricia Louise Denney.
Surviving are his brother, Dan (Carol) Denney and Cliff (Paulette) Denney; several nieces and nephews and his stepchildren and step-grandchildren.
He served with the Military Police Corps in the U.S. Army.
