OBITUARY

John F. Reneau, one of the old time citizens of Rawlins county passed to the higher life at his home in this city Friday, January 29th at the advanced age of 60 years, 4 months and 13 days.

Prior to his death Mr. Reneau had been sick for an extended period and was brought to the Cassandra hospital in this city for treatment but the disease, which later resulted in a paralytic stroke effecting the left side, had made such progress that medical aid was to no avail.

The remains were taken to his former home at McDonald Sunday and funeral services, conducted by Rev. Chas. Williams, were held at the M. E. Church after which the body was laid to rest in the McDonald cemetery.

Owing to the fact that telephone communications with relatives in the northeast part of the county were impossible Tuesday by reason of broken wires, were unable to secure data for an obituary.

He leaves a loving wife, several children and brothers to mourn his loss who by ___________________________________ give the sincere sympathy to other relatives and friends.
