Mrs. Mary Devona Beard, 70,
Wife of Allen J. Beard Boonsboro Rt. 2, died at the Washington County Hospital Friday evening after an illness of six years. Born in Hagerstown, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Elsie Eakle Eyler. She was a member of Trinity Church of Hagerstown.
Besides her husband she is Survived by four daughters, Mrs. James F. Deavers, Cumberland; Mrs. Sam Pashen, Hagerstown; Mrs. Thomas E. Mullendore; Mrs. Robert S. Miner, both of Boonsboro; seven sons, William A. Beard and Donald E. Beard, both of Hagerstown; Robert D. Beard Jack M. C. Beard, Charles E. Beard, John D. Beard and L. Neal Beard, all of Boonsboro; 31 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Mrs. David C. Beard, Hagerstown step-mother, Mrs. William Eyler, Williamsport.
Services will be held from the Bast Funeral Home Boonsboro Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert E. Mohrn and the Rev. Dr. Wilson P. Ard officiating.
Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The Family will receive Friends at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9.
