Mrs. Mary Earline Clements, 79, died Wed., April 8, 1992 of natural causes at the Calhoun County Nursing Home, Calhoun City, following an illness of several months.
She was the widow of the late Bob Bennett Clements, who died in 1964. A homemaker, she resided on Rt. 1, Hwy 9W, Pittsboro and was a member of the Pittsboro Baptist Church. Born April 24, 1912 in MS, she was the daughter of Baxter Morgan and Hattie Johnson Morgan. She leaves one son, Benny Clements of Pittsboro; one sister, Mrs. Blondie Childs of Memphis, TN; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held April 9 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, Bruce. Rev. Ken Strickland officiated, assisted by Rev. Ira Alley. Burial was in Bruce Cemetery. Pallbearers were Howard Morgan, Bobby Cannon, Mark Goodson, Dale Morgan, Bobby Morgan and Gene West.
