MRS. ADA M. ABBOTT DEAD
Funeral Held From Eagle Church Thursday, July 18th.
Ada M. Langworthy was born at Temprenpe, Mich., August 29th, 1874, and passed from this life July 18, 1927, at the age of 52 years, ten months anti nineteen days.
While still a very small child, she moved with her parents to the west, where she spent her entire childhood, returning to Michigan at the age of twenty.
She was united in marriage to John A. Abbott, April 27, 1899, to which union were born five children, two of which, in infancy, preceded her to the great beyond. Her husband and two brothers also beckened her to the other side where they had passed before.
She was a kind, loving mother and her death will be deeply regretted by those who are left. The many kind and thoughtful deeds she was always striving to do for others will long be remembered.
She has left to mourn their great loss, two sons and one daughter, Erwin G., and Cecil J. Abbott, and Mrs. Jay Rilett, all of Clare, Michigan; four brouthers and one sister, James and Lincoln Langworthy, of Flint, Mich.; Ulrich Langworthy, of Tampa, Florida; Alger Langworthy, of Milan, Mich.; and Mrs. Lydia Butterfield of Flint, Mich., three grandchildren, other relatives, and a host of friends.
The funeral was held Thursday afternoon from the Eagle church, Rev. Frank Bates, officiating, and interment made in Cherry Grove cemetery. (Clare Sentinel dated 29 July 1927 - Thanks, Tom)
