JOHN A. ABBOTT
John A. Abbott, was born in Lapeer county May 22, 1871, and departed this life at his home in Sheridan township, April 19, 1922, at the age of 51 years, 10 months and 21 days, following a long illness caused from a complication of diseases.
He was united in marriage to Miss Ada Langworthy. To this union were born five children, two infant daughters who preceded him in death, and Erwin, Joy and Cecil. He is survived by his faithful wife, four sisters, Mrs. P. Donlay, Mrs.James Myer, Mrs. Frank Acre, of Clare county; Mrs. Fred Doty, of Pontiac; two brothers, Alfred and William and one granddaughter, all of who were present at the funeral, and a wide circle of friends.
