Rites for Thomas Goetz Thursday at Maplewood Church

NASEWAUPEE

Thomas A. Goetz, 63, died at his home Sunday afternoon from complications following an illness of five months. The body was prepared for burial by Stoneman's and funeral services were conducted by the Rev.J. N. Diny Thursday morning at St. Mary's church at Maplewood.

Attending in a body were the members of the Catholic Foresters and Holy Name society. George Kohlbeck, George Brey, George Stauber, Ernest Eichhorn, Ferdinand Babler ana John Bretl Jr., were pallbearers. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Goetz was born in the town of Forestville Nov. 30, 1881, a sonof Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Goetz. He lived on the homestead for 38 years and after selling that farm moved to the present farm which he has operated for 25 years. He has been a town supervisor for the past 12 years.

Miss Mary Krebbers and Mr. Miss Mary Krebbers and Mr. Goetz were married June 15, 1909. She survives together with a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Myrtle) Gigot, and a son, Joseph Goetz in the navy, and two grandchildren,Thomas and Maureen Gigot.

Other survivors are the following brothers and sisters: Joseph and Felix Goetz. Los Angeles, Frank Goetz, Manawa, Wis. Mrs. Anna Peterson, Hollywood, Calif., Mrs. John (Julia) Entringer, Algoma, Mrs. Ferdinand (Catherine) Babler, Maplewood, and Mrs. Margaret Polaschek, Alma Center, WIS
