Mrs. Mary Goetz, 79, 2326 S. Webster, Green Bay, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Gigot Thursday. She had suffered a stroke six weeks ago. She was born in Sturgeon Bay July 17, 1887 to the late Mr. and Mrs. John Krebbers. She had resided in Green Bay with her daughter for the past eight years. She was a member of the Altar Society at Holy Name of Mary Catholic church, Maplewood.
She married Thomas Goetz June. 15, 1909 and he died Feb. 13, 1945.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Harry (Myrtle) Gigot, Green Bay one son, Joseph, Green Bay, six grandchildrenone great grandchild one sister Mrs. Nellie Schaeffer,Sturgeon Bay.
Funeral services were conducted Monday by the Rev. Thomas Peeters at Stoneman funeral home at 10:15 a.m. and at Holy Name of Mary Catholic church, Maplewood, at 11 a.m. Burial was in the parish cemetry.
