Nora was born on Sept. 7, 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio the 9th of 10 children. She had sisters Geneva, Viola, Elma, Emily & Tootie and brothers Sonny, John, Elmer (who died as a baby) and Herman.
She married Arthur Hutchison about 1942/1948 who she divorced and then married Allen Higgins, who had two children, Allen and Linda. She was a self-employed singer.
Nora was living at 3709 Fenley Rd. in Cleveland Hts. with Allen prior to her death. She was only 50 when she died on July 21, 1973 in University Hospital from a malignant melanoma.
Nora is buried at Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland in Sec. 43, Lot 370-A, Grave 2 along with her sister and brother-in-law, Tootie & Zolton Popp.
