The body of Mrs. Julia Fiske Parks, of this city, who died suddenly in Seymour, where she was visiting friends, was brought to this city and was taken to the home of her sister, Mrs. Al Croxall, 1717 East Elm street. Her sister, Mrs. H. C. Kenney, and the latter's son, Elbert Kenney, who went to Seymour accompanied the body to this city. The death of Mrs. Parks was due to heart disease. Mrs. Parks was fifty-five years of age and was the widow of Frank Parks. She was born and reared in New Albany and was the daughter of the late Capt. Peleg Fiske. After her marriage she moved with her husband to Medora, Ind., and after the death of her husband, three years ago, she returned to New Albany to live. Besides her sisters, Mrs. Kenney and Mrs. Croxall, in New Albany, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. William Fowler, of Marion, Ind. - Public Press 25 May 1915
