She died at her home, 1328 South Walnut, following an illness of several months.
Funeral services were held on saturday at the Waldo Chapel and conducted by the Reverend Claude Johnston and assisted by the Rev. J.A. Ellis. Interment in the Akers Cemetary.
She was a member of the First Baptist church, she lived in Grayson County for 71 years and at the same address in Sherman for 26 years.

1900 Census Grayson County Texas, Justice Precinct #1, said she had 9 children 8 living.

NOTE: There are 10 children, the ones listed and Herbert H. 1884-1973, Roy E. 1885-1964, Daisy (Sims) no dates for her.
