Jefferson's parents were:
Benjamin Franklin Harrison (1848 - 1902)
Jeanette Sinderella Atwell Harrison (1846 - 1920)

Jefferson left Copiah County, MS when he was a young boy, moving with his parents to Frankfort, Marshall Co, KS. They were there as early as October 25, 1870, when his sister, Mary Fannie, was born. While here his mother gave birth to five more of his siblings, which included Nannie, Margaret, Ida, George, & William. Sometime after William's birth on April 15, 1879, his parents joined a wagon train traveling to TX. They settled in Sparks Springs, in Jack County that same year.

On June 19, 1880,
Jeffie, age 12, lived in Precinct 2 (Sparks Springs), Jack Co, TX with his parents, Benjiman & Genett Harrison, ages 36 & 32. His siblings were Malinda, age 13; Fanney, 11; Nanney, 8, Margret, 7; Ida, 5; George 3; & William, 1. Benjamin farmed to support the family.

Jefferson married Ella Bell Dickersen in Jack Co, TX on February 14, 1889.

Their children were Ethel, Reuben, Fred Ross, Rad William, Myrtle, Homer, & Nana Emma.

On June 23, 1900,
Jeff & Bell Harrison, ages 32 & 36, were renting a home in Justice Precinct 2, Jack Co, TX where he farmed to support them. They had been married 12 years; Bell had given birth to six children: Ethel, age 9; Reuben, 7; Fred, 6; Rad, 5; Myrtle, 3; & Homer, 1.

Jefferson died the following year on November 1, 1901, three days before their last child, Nana Emma, was born in Palo Pinto Co, TX.
