Ida's parents were:
Benjamin Franklin Harrison (1848 - 1902)
Jeanette Sinderella Atwell Harrison (1846 - 1920)

She was the 6th of their 12 children.

On June 19, 1880,
Ida, age 5, lived in Precinct 2, Jack Co, TX with her parents, Benjamin & Genett Harrison, ages 36 & 32. Her siblings were Malinda, age 13; Jeffie, 12; Fanney, 11; Nanney, 8; Margret, 7; George, 3; & William, 1. Benjamin was farming for himself to support them.

Ida was 19 years old when she married Clark Walter Bailey, age 21, on September 16, 1894. Clark, born in Oran, TX was the son of:
Francis Marion "Uncle Frank" Bailey 1840 – 1937
Sarah Margaret Sanders 1844 – 1935

Clark W. & Ida M., ages 37 & 34, owned a home in Justice Precinct 2, Palo Pinto Co, TX with their children, Malissa M., age 11; Walter K., 9; & Granville C., 5.

Clark & Ida had been married 16 years; she had given birth to three children (shown above). Clark was a merchant in a retail house.

Clark contracted Typhoid Fever dying at home in Oran, Palo Pinto, Co, TX on August 20, 1915. He was 42 years old.

Their youngest, Norris James, was born on February 18th this same year so was only 6 months old.

Ida & her children moved to Graford, TX where she purchased a home sometime after Clark's death.

In February 1920,
Ida, age 43, owned a home, mortgage free, in Graford, Palo Pinto Co, TX. She did sewing in her home to help provide a living. Children living at home were Curtis, age 16; Granvel, 13; Preston, 7; and Norris, 5.

Ida M. Bailey, age 55, was owned a home valued at $850 in Oran in Precinct 2, Palo Pinto Co, TX. Two children lived with her: Preston F. and Norris, ages 17 & 15. Preston was doing general farm work to help support them.

On April 10, 1940,
Ida Bailey, age 65, lived in Jack Co, TX with her son, Norris, J., age 25, & his family. (This was probably four miles north of Oran where she died two years later.) He was married to Velma L., age 23; they had one son, Norris J. Jr., age one month.

Norris owned a home valued at $400; he was farming to support them.

Ida was living four miles north of Oran, in Jack Co, TX when she died at 12:30 a.m. on May 9, 1942, from Gall Stones & Myocarditis. She had lived 66 years, 2 months, & 3 days.
