Last name might be Pilkinton. Sara J. Andrews had her great-grandmother's name as Mary Pinkleton Puckett on her family tree. In her notes she says "John D. Simpson married Mary Pinkleton. Their twin sons, Orlando B. and Leander, were born April 25, 1853."
