OBITUARY

Sylvia Millicent Sellars was the youngest daughter of James S. and Elizabeth M. Sellars. She was born at Narka, Kansas, August 3, 1877, and departed this life at her home southeast of McDonald, January 20, 1941, at the age of 63 years, 5 months and 17 days.

She was united in marriage to Lewis Andrews, March 3, 1897. They lived in Decatur county for seven years, then with their three small children moved to Rawlins county where they homesteaded their farm on the South Beaver.

Mrs. Andrews was not a member of any particular denomination, but was always interested in religious matters and attended the various church services whenever she had opportunity to do so.

She was a loving wife and mother, a kind neighbor and friend. She had been in poor health for several months and had suffered patiently, always looking forward to the time when she would be well again.

Her husband and an infant daughter preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her departure, three children; Orval L., Floyd W., and Lola Robbins, all of McDonald; and Will Sellars of Fairbury, Nebraska, also four grandsons and five grand-daughters.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, January 22, at 2:30 p.m. at McDonald, by Rev. J. A. Plantz D. D., and burial was made in the McDonald Cemetery.
