Mildred Louise (Conn) Wood was born Feb. 16, 1925, in, Benton, Franklin County, Illinois, to Clarence and Lula (Gunter) Conn. She married Donald Edward Wood, on July 22, 1951. They had six children: Alan (Roberta) Wood, of Springfield, Ohio, Donald Wood of Enon, Ohio, David (Sue) Wood of Enon, Ohio, Thom (Pam) Wood of New Carlisle, Ohio, and Bill (Pam) Wood of Fairborn, Ohio, and daughter, Carol (Will) Robertson of Huber Heights, Ohio.
