Mrs. Della Chariton
Mrs. Della Mae Chariton, 85, of 305 E. Locust died in her sleep at her home during the early hours Friday.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Beck Memorial Home and burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Downs.
Friends may call at the memorial home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs. Chariton was born March 2, 1880, in Downs, a son of Joseph J. and Roanna Straight Craig. She was married to Daniel F. Chariton in 1904 in Bloomington.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Bond, Pekin; two sons, James A Chariton, 818 K Locust; Claude W Kendall, 34 Payne Place, Normal; a sister. Mrs. Lucy Jones, Heyworth; two brothers, Floyd Craig, Heyworth; Cheney Craig, 504 Grant Road. Normal; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
