MRS. JOSEPH CRAIG DEAD

Passed Away at Her Home in This City at 10:30 Monday Night — Was an Invalid Seven Years.

Mrs. Joseph Craig died at 10:30 last night at the family home, 407 East Jackson street. Mrs. Craig had been an invalid for seven years, but bore her suffering with great cheerfulness. Anna Straight was born in Dayton. O., May 13, 1854 and came to Illinois when 3 years old with here parents, Mr. and Mrs. Amos Straight. She was married to Joseph Craig June 2, 1874. He with eight children survive. The children are: John W. of Hayworth, Mrs. Nettle Mikle, of Down; Miss Della Charlton, of this city, and Cheney, Lucy, Floyd and Forest, at home. Her father, Amos Craig,resides at Gibson city. She is also survived by six sisters, Mrs. Dora Brittin, of Leroy; Mrs. Martha Fogle of Holder; Mrs. India Canardy, of Hayworth; Mrs. Jennie Canardy of Monon, Ind., Mrs. Eva Bolin and Miss Emma Straight of Heyworth.

The funeral will he announced later.
