GADSDEN -- Mr Robert Herman Leverett of Gadsden died Monday, January 1, 1996 at Gadsden Regional Hospital in Gadsden.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, Jan 4 at 11 a.m. at Sanders Funeral Home in LaFayette with the Rev. Ronnie Holmes officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Leverett is survived by three daughters, Eugenia Turner of Tucker, Ga., Judith Johnston of Spring, Texas and Jane Haynie of Opelika; his son, Charles D. Leverett of Semmes; two sisters, Dorothy Allen of LaFayette and Marjorie Ruth Roberts of Valley; four brothers, Edgar Leverett, Curtis Leverett and Nathan Leverett, all of LaFayette, and Joe Leverett of Snellville, Ga.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family respectfully declines the gift of flowers and asks that memorials be made to the Alabama Baptist Children's Home in memory of Mr. Leverett.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Sanders Funeral Home in LaFayette.
Sanders Funeral Home in LaFayette is handling arrangements.
