Lloyd was born September 15, 1932, in Checotah, Oklahoma, the son of Dentist Elva Chester and Lavern Mae Kerr. He was the youngest of a clan that included brothers, Earl, Merle, Homer and Max Chester, plus their wives and sisters, Pearl (Earl) Leason, Ethel (Oscar) Ridemour and Ester (Red) Wedell. He was also the last suvivor of this clan.
Lloyd was a Rollin' Stone. He was married to Lila Newkirk, children, Lloyd Ray Chester Jr. and Lavedra Mae Chester, and married to Patricia Milem, children, William C. Chester, Laura J. Williams, Dennis R. Chester, Lloyd A. Chester, and James T. Chester. Also included in the mix is a son, Steven Lloyd Chester, wife Betty Kuehl and others. There are too numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces to list. There are also a few grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lloyd was a Korean War veteran, a master of B.S., and a traveling man. He was the last of his breed. May he rest in peace.
