Edmund M. Brown, 1132 Harvey Street, died in Memorial hospital at 2 p. m. Saturday after three days' illness. He was born in Lafayette, Ind May 12. 1866, and came here-in 1913 from that city.
He married Elizabeth Holtz there in 1895. She died in 1905. He leaves a son. Mack E. Brown, of -the same address, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was founder and charter member of the Elks' lodge in Lafayette, Friends may call after p. m. Monday in the Orvis funeral home and until the funeral there at 10 a. m.' Tuesday. Rev. Paul Berggren, pastor of Gloria Dei Lutheran church, will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Vale cemetery, Lafayette.
