Frances Ronning, 93, Valley City, died Tuesday, March 13, 1990, at the Sheyenne Care Center.
Funeral Mass was conducted March 16 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sanborn with Rev. Stephen Dickinson, celebrant. Interment was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Sanborn.
Frances Diemert was born November 15, 1896, at Casselton, the daughter of George and Magdalena Diemert. She moved with her family to the Eckelson area, where she attended school. She had served the Brohman family of Sanborn for 50 years. She moved to Valley City in 1972 and most recently had been a resident of the Sheyenne Care Center. She was active in church affairs and numerous other organizations.
She is survived by a brother, Bernard Diemert, Napa, CA; two sisters, Sister Agnes Diemert, Maryvale; and Mae Freitas, Napa, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, six brothers and seven sisters.
