B.J. Spreng, 77, a retired farmer, died at his home, 1315 Washburn avenue, at 12:30 o'clock this morning, after a long illness. He had lived in Shawnee county and Topeka since 1878. The funeral announcement will be made later.

Phillip J. Spreng, age 77, died Monday at his home, 1315 Washburn avenue. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Westminister Presbyterian church. Interment in Mount Hope cemetery.
