Funeral services for Bartlette Worden Butler of Kaawa, Hawaii, formerly of Winona, will be 2pm Thursday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Albert Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
The son of Frank and Jessie Butler, he was born in Leroy, MN. on May 21, 1889. He was married to Pearl Wills March 3, 1910 at Truman, MN. Pearl died Dec. 14, 1964.
Mr. Butler was mayor of the Village of St. Charles, MN in the 1920s, and had lived in Winona about 30 yrs.
Survivors are two sons Rev. Frank Butler of Cocoa Beach, Fla., Leroy C. Butler of Hawaii, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and three sisters Mrs. Al (Lois) Smith, Sr. of Winona, Mrs. Beryl Costello, and Mrs. Otto(Marie) Fletcher both of St. Paul, MN.
