Franklin R. Adkins, 59, a plant manager, died Dec. 1, 1993, in his residence.
Mr. Adkins was born in Bluefield, Va. He was employed with Military Distributors of Virginia.
Survivors include his wife, Annette L. Adkins; one son, Michael W. Adkins of Virginia Beach; five sisters, Virgie Ward, Eunice Bowman, Alene Barrett, all of Virginia Beach, Irene Bridges and Dorothy Mathews, both of Chesapeake; and six brothers, Leonard O. Adkins, Robert J. Adkins, Thomas W. Adkins, all of Virginia Beach, James M. Adkins of Rice, Va., William E. Adkins of Chesapeake and Raymond D. Adkins of Linburn, Ga.
Services will be private. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is handling arrangements.
