Vera Ellen Walker was born Aug 21 1892 at Pleasant Grove, Utah, the second child of William Henson Walker and Sarah Ellen Christensen. She started to school when she was 6 years old, in the shcool that is now called the Old Bell School Building and later attended at the old Cnetral School. She attended school to the eighth grade. She also attended Sunday School and Mutual in the second ward. Vera and her older sister, Myrtle, enjoyed playing and working together, and also going to shows and parties. She was baptized Nov 1 1902. She always helped her mother with the housework, and was always busy. She was good natured about everything. Vera got sick and died Mar 25, 1914 in Pleasant Grove, Utah, Utah.
