VIRGINIA COFER NORWOOD

FOXWORTH, MISS.; Virginia Helen Cofer Norwood, 79, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at her Foxworth, Miss., Marion County home.

Funeral services were held at two o'clock in the afternoon Sunday, April 29, 2007, in the Breeland Funeral Home Chapel at Canton, Miss. Burial was in the Canton City Cemetery, Canton, Miss., Marion County. Breeland Funeral Home in Canton, Miss. was in charge of arrangements.

A native of Coffeeville, Miss., She was the youngest daughter of James Percy and Martha Ann McCammon Cofer. Mrs. Norwood had lived in Foxworth, Miss. for a number of years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Water Valley, Miss.

Survivors include; sons, Leo Norwood of Canton, Miss., Michael A. Norwood of Byhalia, Miss., William W. Norwwood of Carthage, Miss.; a daughter, Flora Jean Norwood britt of Ashland, Miss.; eleven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A special neice and nephew-in-law, Dorothy and Harold Tallent of Vardaman, Miss.

Mrs Norwood was proceeded in death by a infant daught, Mary Nell Norwood, two sons, Elmer Eugene Norwood, Jr. and Edward dean Norwood and her husband Elmer Eugene Norwood.
