Missouri was the daughter of William Collins Goines & Amanda Lavinia Sanford.

She married Austin Nash in 1904 and they had two children, Lilly Lavora and Clyde Tampton.

After Austin's passing in 1908, she married Guide Nash, on September 18, 1909. Missouri and Guide had 8 children; Viva Viola, Audie Mae "Bill", Mary Bracie, Vivian Christine, Robbie, Maxine, Guy and Angus/Angles Arden.
