After Guide and Missouri were married, they had 8 children: Viva Viola, Audie Mae "Bill", Mary Bracie, Vivian Christine, Robbie, Maxine, Guy and Angus/Angles Arden.

Funeral services for Guide Nash, 81, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday in the Oakley-Metcalf Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Dunkin and the Rev. Dan Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Trinity Co.
Mr. Nash of Burke died in a Lufkin hospital Saturday morning. He was born Aug. 21, 1885 in Madison Co., and had resided in Angelina Co. for the last 42 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Arvil Stringer of Diboll, Mrs. Brink Stringer of Lufkin, Mrs. Carl Johns of Beaumont, Mrs. Lillie Townsend of Lufkin and Mrs. Leonard Stringer of Beaumont; two sons, Clyde Nash of Diboll and Guy Nash of Lufkin; brother, Robb Nash of Groveton; half-sisters, Mrs. Mandy Vinson, Mrs. Josie Goines, Mrs. Lila Mae Coody, all of De Ridder, La., and Mrs. Emily Ellis of Crockett; half-brothers, Ruff Nash of De Ridder, La., Jeff Nash of Vidor, Louis Nash of Diboll and Jimmy Nash of Rockford, Ill.; 25 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
