Mrs. Otis Klett Dies While On Trip To Hawaii
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Keeler Methodist church for Mrs. Otis Klett, 64, wife of the owner of Klett Construction Co. and the OK Fruit farms.
Mrs. Klett died suddenly Thursday night at Honolulu, Hawaii, while on a lifetime-planned vacation with her husband and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Foster and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Schause of Wescola, Texas.
Mrs. Klett was born Lucy Conklin in Keeler township and married Otis Klett in 1914. She lived her entire life in Keeler.
Besides her husband she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Andrew (Joyce) Madarik; three sons, Carol, Edward and Dale, all of Keeler; 12 grandchildren; one great-grand-daughter; a brother, Max Conklin of Hartford and two nephews.
Mrs. Klett was a member of the Keeler Methodist church and the WSCS and had been a member of the Keeler Thursday club for 47 years. She also belonged to the Keeler-Hartford Extension class. The Rev. Ronald Entenman of the Keeler church officiated and burial was in the Keeler cemetery. Bearers were Dean Foster, William Stewart, William A. Burnette, Jack Bellware, Dr. E. Copeland and Clarence Stewart.
