FUNERALS - Mrs Aurelia C Connely - The body of Mrs Aurelia C Connely arrived in the city at 1:05 pm yesterday from Tonawanda, NY, where she died on Sunday, and the casket was taken directly to Fairview cemetery where committal services were conducted at 2:30 pm, there being a goodly number of old friends and neighbors present. Rev Victor Bucher offered prayer and read the hymn, 'My Faith Looks Up to Thee.' Mrs Connely was the daughter of James F and Elizabeth Connely and was born on November 2, 1843. Most of her life was spent in or near Pleasantville. She was married to Isaac Connely and they resided in the borough for fifty years. He passed away in February, 1907. She is survived by three children, Mrs Margaret Shattuck of Franklin, Mrs D M Lockwood of Avon, Ill, and Willis Connely of Tulsa, Okla. There are seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. There are also one sister, Mrs Kenston of Rocky Grove, three brothers, Isaac Connely of Jamestown, NY, Edward Connely of Ashville, NY, and Austin Connely of Stow, NY, two half-brothers, H M Cole and Charles P Cole of Oklahoma, and two half-sisters, Mrs James McIntyre of Bradford and Mrs C O Vosburgh of Titusville. Among those present for the services yesterday were the following from a distance: Mrs Margaret Shattuck of Franklin, Mr and Mrs Willis Connely of Tulsa, Okla, Mr and Mrs Claude Field and daughter, Jean, of South Wales, NY, Mrs Harry Chapin and James Connely of Tonawanda, NY."
