"The body of Mrs Nettie C Kenniston, widow of Joseph A Kenniston, who died in the Pennsylvania Memorial Home at Brookville at 11:30am, Thursday, April 19, 1945, was moved to the Buchanan funeral home in Franklin, where a funeral service was conducted at 1:00pm Saturday. Interment was in Mt Collins cemetery, Tionesta, later in the afternoon. Mrs Kenniston was born at Stewart Run, March 7, 1850, the daughter of Finley and Elizabeth Collingwood Connelly. Mr and Mrs Kenniston and family were well known in Tionesta, having removed here from Fagundus and residing in the house on North Elm Street now owned by Mrs Mabel Coville. Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Charles Kenniston, Oil City; Thomas Kenniston, Grand Valley; Mrs Daisy Bentley, Mayville, NY; and Mrs Hazel Emert, Franklin. She also leaves 21 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren."
