In memory of my grandmother, Marion (Robinson) Banks, d/o Dr. Elisha Miller Robinson & wife, Leila Prince Robinson. She was granddaughter and g-granddaughter of old Jefferson Co., Ala. pioneers, Dr. Frank Prince & wife, Martha Gaines Jordan, and Mortimer Harvie Jordan and wife, Lucy Scott Gray. She was wife of Nathaniel McWhorter Banks of Gadsden, Etowah Co., Ala., another old Alabama family.

She attended and graduated Sullins College, Va., along with her 1st cousin, Elise Robinson McEniry, and her sister, Marguerite Robinson Barker. She married Mr. Banks in 1911 from her parent's home in Glen Iris Park, Birmingham, Ala. She and Mr. Banks were the parents of 3 children.
