Elizabeth Jane (Betty) Bevan Belliston, our dear beloved mother, passed away on the afternoon of September 14, 2011 into the waiting arms of her dear husband and parents and many other family members.

Betty was born December 8, 1923 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Russell Vandergrift and Sallie Marie Magill Bevan. She married Byron Wilford Belliston on February 23, 1951 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Betty joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on May 8, 1949. "I felt at home when I went to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The people were so kind to me. They took care of me. I could feel the spirit when people spoke in church."

She is survived by her children, Deborah (Mark) Bradshaw; Sara Roberts; Russell (GayLynn) Belliston; fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; cousins, Carolyn Magargee Russell and Arlene Waddell.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 19, 2011 in the Nephi Eighth Ward Chapel, 222 South 100 East. Family and friends may call Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North, Nephi, UT.
Interment will be in the Nephi Vine Bluff Cemetery.
