Byron Wilford Belliston, age 79, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Heavenly Father on January 5, 2001.

He was born August 28, 1921 in Nephi to Wilford and Winifred Dorothy Warr Belliston. He married Elizabeth Jane Bevan on February 23, 1951 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

"Nature Sweet, Ready to Eat." Byron was a third generation beekeeper and farmer. He served as a Sergeant in the Army during World War II in the Philippines and Korea. He was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many callings.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Debbie (Mark) Bradshaw, West Valley City; Sara Roberts, Abilene, TX; Russell (Gaylynn) Belliston, Spanish Fork; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Edith Beckstead, Donna Jenkins. Preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2001 in the Nephi Eighth Ward Chapel, 222 South 100 East. Friends may call Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North, and at the church one hour prior to the services.
Burial: Vine Bluff Cemetery.
