Albert Relyea, aged 70, of 1024 North Lawrence Street, died at 5:45 a.m. Sunday in his residence after a long illness. Born in Defiance County, Ohio on March 20, 1871, he came here 35 years ago from Defiance. He was married in 1914 in St. Joseph, Michigan to Mrs. Mary Dolde, who survives. He leaves also a step daughter, Mrs. Earl Rupe of South Bend; three step sons, W.A. Dolde and Frank Dolde of South Bend and Charles Dolde of Plymouth and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lang of Defiance and Mrs. Anna Potterf of Ray, Montana and two brothers, Frank Relyea of Defiance and William Relyea of Napoleon, Ohio. He was a member of Colfax Camp No. 3306, Modern Woodmen of America. Friends will be received in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and in the residence from then until the funeral at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the residence. The Rev. Harvey J. Kieser of Grace Methodist church, will officiate.
