Mrs. Mary Lang, 71 wife of Wesley Lang, Rt 7 of Noble Township, died today at 3:50 a.m. in Defiance hospital. The body was removed to the Mansfield funeral home where it will remain for services Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Brunersberg Cemetery. Mrs. Lang had been in failing health most of the winter. She underwent an appendectomy some time ago and was returned to the hospital on April 29th. She leaves her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Lero, Rt. 7; a brother, Frank Relyea, Rt. 5; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lang was born September 1, 1876 in Noble Township where she spent the greater part of her life. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. William Relyea. -Defiance Crescent News, May 26 1948.
