SUDAN — Ramona Engram, 94, of Amarillo, formerly of Sudan, died Monday, Sept. 12, 2011.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church of Sudan with the Rev. Larry Springer of Sudan officiating. Burial will be in Sudan Cemetery by Ellis Funeral Home of Sudan.

Mrs. Engram was born Nov. 13, 1916, in Valley View to Roy Lee and Delia R'lee Griffin Robinson. She married Millard C. "Jack" Engram on Jan. 13, 1932, in Clovis, N.M.

Mrs. Engram moved to Sudan in 1952 from Sunray. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Sudan. She was a lifelong member of the Order of Eastern Star and had received an honor from the Grand Chapter for 11 terms as Worthy Matron. She had owned and operated a beauty salon in Sudan for 25 years. She organized charitable events for Buckner Children's Family Services.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a daughter, Dr. Karen Rich; a sister, Lovena; three brothers, Rhoetus, William C. and Roy Lee Robinson Jr.; and two grandsons, Terry Rich and Scott Baccus; and a granddaughter, Lisa Elliott.

Survivors include two sons, Roy Engram of Grapevine and Kim Engram and wife Becky of Hutto; two daughters, Rena Popejoy and husband Dawson of Sunray and Eloise McGalliard and husband Don of Madisonville; 13 grand
children; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Ellis Funeral Home.

The family suggests memorials be made to Buckner Children's and Family Services, 129 Brentwood Ave. Lubbock, TX 79416
