Juanita Joan (Fisher) Latham, age 77, of Buffalo, SC, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011, at Wallace Thomson Hospital.

Born in Buffalo, SC, on October 20, 1933, daughter of the late Rev. Ernest Howard Fisher (1907–1978) and Lois Elizabeth Ingle Fisher (1917–2007); widow of Melvin C. Latham (1928–2001).

A member of New Hope Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter, Denise Alexander (Paul); son, Dale Latham (Anita); sisters, Madge Billings (Robbie), Kim Gardler (Mike), and Cindy Fisher; brothers, Clint Fisher (Sherry, Buddy Fisher, Darrell Fisher, Charles Fisher (Guinn), and Terry Fisher (Joye); six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by a daughter, Duane Comer; and a son, William David Latham.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 12, 2011, at the S. R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Johnny Burgess; burial was at Rosemont cemetery.

The family received friends at the funeral home prior to the service.
