Cindy Lou Fisher

God reclaimed his special angel, Cindy Lou Fisher, Saturday, July 18, 2015, at 10:20 PM at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Cindy was born on January 2, 1959, the 12th child of the late Rev. Howard Fisher and Elizabeth “Lois” Ingle Fisher of Buffalo. Prior to her illness, she resided with her brother and sister-in-law, Reginald Clint and Sherry Fisher of 114 Baber St., Union.

Cindy was under the watch care of Philippi Baptist Church. Cindy Lou will be remembered for her beautiful smile, love of music and praising God.

Surviving are two sisters: Madge Billings and husband Robbie of Duncan, and Kim Gardler and husband Mike of Buffalo; five brothers: Reginald “Clint” Fisher and wife Sherry of Union, Ernest “Buddy” Fisher, Darrell Fisher, Charles Fisher and wife Gwen, Terry Fisher and wife Joy, all of Buffalo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cindy was predeceased by two sisters and brother-in-laws: Vickey and J.L. Jackson and Joan and Melvin Latham.

Services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Philippi Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Brad Goodale. Burial will be at Rosemont Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Bobby Turner, Bobby Horne, Craig Price, Paul Burgess, Gerald Gregory, Sr., and Ray Finch. Honorary pallbearers will be the DSN Board and staff of Union Services.

The family will receive friends 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the service at the church.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home for their compassion and care, which made Cindy’s and our journey peaceful.

Memorials may be made to Philippi Baptist Church, 327 Philippi Church Rd., Union, SC, 29379, or Shriners Children’s Hospital, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC, 29605.
