Iva Reynold
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home for Iva Reynolds, 89, Overbrook, formerly of 3805 W. 18th. She died Monday, Oct. 28, at her home.
Miss Reynolds was an auditor in the dispersements department for Santa Fe Railway until 1957, and was later employed by the State of Kansas before she retired in 1962.
She was born March 17, 1896, at Madison in Greenwood County, the daughter of Edgar Warren and Almeda Sanders Reynolds. She moved to Topeka in 1915.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Overbrook, and of the Railroad Retirees Association.
Several nieces and nephews survive.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Miss Reynolds will lie in state after 11 a.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church at Overbrook, 66525.
