Obituary - John Henry Hunter, 45, passed away at his home Friday of pneumonia, following a short Illness. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. David Eato, pastor of the Bethel A. M. E. Church, at his late home Sunday at 2 o'clock. Interment followed in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Hunter is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Mills Hunter, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Edith Quaw, of Jamaica; Mrs. George Peterson, of Greenport; Mrs. Edward Johnson, of Southampton; Glenwood Hunter, of Patchogue; Mrs. Frank Bess, Charles S. Hunter, Chester Hunter and Rutherford B. Hunter, all of Riverhead. He was born in Riverhead, where he spent the greater part of his life.
