Obituary - Found Dead at Calverton - Andrew Hunter, age 46, a negro, was found dead at Calverton, Wednesday morning. Coroner Cornwell held an inquest and found that death was due to exposure. Hunter had been peddling fish with a horse and wagon. His brother, Benjamin Hunter, was also out peddling with another rig. Andrew sold fish at Charles Cheshire's and then started through an old road to the home of John Reeve, where he hoped to sell the last fish in the box, according to his brother, who left him there and came home. Wednesday morning, a son of John Tycz found the body lying face down in the sand by the side of the road. It is presumed that Hunter fell out of the wagon in some way. The rig was found some distance from the scene of the accident. Hunter worked for Dr. Fred C. Dettner.
