Mary B. Walton, 95, of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday March 10, 2022 in Gibson Family Hospice surrounded by her family. Mary was born in Terre Haute on June 23, 1926 to Carl Burns and Abigail Scott Burns.
She was a member of Seelyville United Methodist Church and retired from Brazil Hospital where she worked in the Medical Records office. She enjoyed her time while living and visiting Florida with her husband.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John R. Walton, a son Ron Walton, a daughter Jackie Walton, a daughter-in-law Cheri Walton and a great-granddaughter Kiara Walton. She was also preceded in death by brothers and sister James Burns, Bill Burns and Mildred Matherly.
She is survived by two sons Don Walton (Nikki) of Terre Haute and Rick Walton also of Terre Haute. She is survived by a daughter in-law Rosemary Walton, a nephew Gary Matherly (Bonnye), eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Private services are scheduled with burial at Highland Lawn Cemetery. Pastor Larry Lilly will officiate. Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47804 was entrusted with arrangements.
